Treasurer – MaryAnne Yakubowski

MaryAnne Yakubowski

My name is MaryAnne Yakubowski and I am a 35 year member of the Little People of America.  During my tenure in LPA, I have held several offices and positions.  I am the Founder and Past President of the now idle Mohawk Valley Chapter in Upstate New York.  During that time I was also Chapter Treasurer for at least 2-3 terms.  During the organization of the chapter and seeking charter LPA became a non-profit organization.  I have experience of filling out and sending in the quarterly Treasurer reports required for the 501(c)3.

One of my previous employers was St James Parish Family in Glendale.  I was Assistant to the Manager of Finance.  One of my duties was to enter the Sunday donations from the collection plate every Monday for each family.  Reports also had to be organized each week and printed showing a break down and allocation of the funds.

For the last 6 years I have been employed at Wells Fargo Bank in Customer Service.  I handle not only basic account information but also trouble shoot and problem solve.  I not only work with all of our deposit accounts but also with loans and lines of credit.  This has been done on both the banker level and currently on the supervisor level.  Because of this experience I have not only basic account and banking knowledge but I am also aware and up to date on banking regulations as well.

Since moving to Phoenix 19 years ago and joining the Phoenix chapter, I have held the office of President as well as Secretary.  I was also the Peer Mentoring Coordinator.  Recently I was the Chapter Treasurer for the newly formed Tucson Roadrunner Chapter.  I look forward to further serving LPA as District 10 Treasurer!
