terryreed-300x375My name is Terry Reed and I am the current co-President of the Front Range Chapter of LPA.  I became involved with LPA in 1996 when my son Logan was born with achondroplasia.  I can’t even begin to describe what a blessing the organization was in helping our family navigate the many medical issues Logan had when he was a baby. I can now report that Logan is a healthy and happy 12 year old who keeps his 14 year old brother Dylan on his toes.  In the early years, my husband Steve’s career had us traveling all over the countryside.  Now that he is retired I decided to take a more active role in LPA and became co-vice president  of our local chapter in 2007.  In 2008 the Front Range Chapter hosted a Spring Regional that was very well attended and provided many of our district members with helpful medical clinics and a large variety of informative workshops.  We hope to build on that momentum in the next couple of years and keep our chapter functioning strongly, with an emphasis on the financial and medical resources we can help provide our members.

loriyoung-300x380Hi, my name is Lori Young. I am originally from California, but relocated to Colorado in 2005. Our family became members of Little People of America in 2000 when our son, Andrew, was born with achondroplasia. After moving to Colorado, I decided to take a more active role in the organization and was able to serve as Co-Vice President for two years. Last December, I was elected Co-President of the Front Range Chapter along with Terry Reed. I look forward to working with Terry and our chapter to get the word out about LPA and to educate our members about the various forms of support we can offer them.
